  • Working closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures;
  • Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization;
  • Liaising with a range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety;
recruiting staff, which involves developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates;
developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management;
  • Preparing staff handbooks;
  • Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits;
  • Undertaking regular salary reviews;
  • Negotiating with staff and their representatives (for example, trade union officials) on issues relating to pay and conditions;
  • Administering payroll and maintaining employee records;
  • Interpreting and advising on employment law;
  • Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures;
  • Developing HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements;
- Planning and sometimes delivering training - including inductions for new staff;
  • Analyzing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.

Company Profile

تم إرساء حجر الأساس لمستشفى أبها الخاص في عام 1990م, ومنذ الوهلة الأولى كانت المستشفى - ولاتزال - اللبنة الأولى لتطور الرعاية الصحية الشاملة في منطقة عسير بأكملها ومثلا يقتدى به في هذا المجال.
بداية التأسيس كانت المستشفى في موقعها الأول بشارع الطبجية، حيث كانت تعمل بطاقة 30 سريراً، إضافة إلى العيادات الخارجية، ورغم البداية السريعة وضعت المستشفى نفسها في خارطة الرعاية الصحية كمقدم رئيسي للخدمات الطبية في منطقة الجنوب، ومنذ ذلك الحين بدأ التخطيط لإحداث نقله نوعية وكمية في تقديم الخدمات الطبية.

تحت رعاية الأمير سلطان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود تم انتقال المستشفى في عام 2000م، إلى موقعه الحالي حيث شهد تطوراً كبيراً أفقياً ورأسياً ليتعاظم الدور الحيوي للمستشفى في أبها وجنوب المملكة بشكل عام.

أدى هذا الانتقال إلى زيادة الطاقة السريرية لأسرة المستشفى لتصل إلى 200 سريراً، وعدد 46 عيادة خارجية، إضافة لتجهيزات الأشعة والمختبر والعلاج الطبيعي والمرافق الأخرى الطبية وغير الطبية.

كما تزامن هذا التوسع مع توسع نوعي آخر برز في إنشاء مركز العمليات الجراحية والتي تتكون من 6 غرف للجراحة مجهزة بالتجهيزات البشرية والفنية، وشهدت هذه الفترة إجراء جميع الجراحات بها من جراحات المخ والأعصاب وجراحات التجميل ومركز الكلى وتفتيت حصيات المسالك البولية ومركز جراحات العيون وبقية الجراحات الدقيقة.

صاحب ذلك أول تجربة حقيقة لاستقطاب الكفاءات الوطنية السعودية للأطباء الاستشاريين وكانت تجربة جديرة بالتوقف عندها، حيث شكل الاستشاريون السعودييون علامة فارقة في مسيرة المستشفى، وزادت وتيرة الخدمات الطبية بإنشاء وتمديد أجنحة العناية المركزة للكبار والأطفال، وعمليات القسطرة القلبية التي قلصت من عدد عمليات القلب المفتوح، هذا بالإضافة للتوسع الكبير في قسم الحضانات ليرتفع إلى عدد 16حضانة.

وجنباً إلى جنب مع هذه الانجازات ومن وقت مبكر اعتمدت الإدارة العليا للمستشفى مبدأ الجودة خياراً استراتيجياً حيوياً لايمكن الحياد عنه، فبدأت مسيرة الجودة منذ العام 2007م لتتكلل بالنجاح في فبراير 2011م بنيل الاعتماد من المجلس المركزي لاعتماد المنشآت الصحية بالمملكة كأول مستشفى خاص بالمملكة ينال هذا الإنجاز.
